There are some simple tips that will help you to stay healthy and lose some weight. While losing weight you should not feel discomfort. Even if you want to achieve quick results, do not make yourself suffer of being hunger. Some recommendation can really help you to enjoy the meals that you like. You can simply replace one product on another, as following:

  • If you want ice-cream, try to replace it with a low fat yogurt or sherbet.
  • When you buy milk, give preference to fat- free milk.
  • Lean ham can replace bacon.
  • Among all kind of oil try to use olive oil or canola oil while you are cooking food.
  • If you cannot live without chocolate you better give preference to dark chocolate, because it is richer in anti-oxidant than a milk one.
  • Instead of brisket use beef loin.
  • Grain bread is better then a white bread.
  • Snack on carrot sticks (52 calories/cup) peaches (61 calories/pc.), blackberries (62 calories/serving).

Also remember that drinking water is also very important. Your body should receive enough quantity of water and in time. If you feel hunger you should drink some water first of all.

Another good advice is to eat 5-6 times small meals a day, which will help to speed up metabolism.

Keeping the result

One of the hardest things about weight loss is keeping the result. Many people after losing some weight get back to what they had before. This could happen due to different reasons, but the most main one is unhealthy way to lose weight. Weight loss process is not only the result that should be archived, but this is often the changes of the lifestyle in general.

You should also understand that there is no limit of what you can archive. If you are oriented pretty much on getting better and better result that will keep you stay motivated and thus will keep you shaped.
