There are many diet programs available for the people. For instance, there are high protein diet, no-carb diet, no-fat diet, low calorie diet, low-fat diet, water therapy diet, etc. If you eat according to these diets, it will possibly help you to lose some weight; but having normal weight does not necessarily means being healthy. Many health professionals have decided that a balanced diet is the one that helps the body to stay in a good health condition.

A balanced diet consists of the recommended amount of fats, protein, vitamins, carbohydrates, calcium and minerals. In order to loos weight you should remember to eat daily low-calorie foods.

It is also important not to overcarry and go below more than 10-20% from the daily calories needs, because otherwise your body will not be supplied with the energy sufficiently for normal functioning of heart, blood circulation, etc.
